Mary Ann lived with her parents in Richland at their home which was also their place of business, Squires Grocery, and rode the school bus to attend Special Education Classes taught by Mrs. Mary Ann loved to play Bingo and watching her ‘soaps’.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William and Robert Carlson, and her sister, Jean Mullane; by Lynn, her husband of 61 years, her daughter, Mary, and son, Peter.
She is survived by her son, Stephen of York County, Virginia; grandchildren Nick, Sarah, Lynsey and Zack and several nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann is survived by her sister Arlene (Lalon) Trang of Nashua, MT; nieces and nephews Roger (Terry) Trang of Nashua, MT, Kelly (Pamela) Trang of Pierz, Minnesota, Barbara (Mike) Castleman of Kalispell, MT, Thom (Dina) Trang of Dillon, MT, and Vicki (Justin) Heupel of Kalispell, MT; great-nieces and nephews Morgan, Jacob and Caleb Trang, Taylor Trang, Logan and Elia Castleman, Nathan, Mikaela, and Abigail Trang, Luke and Evan Heupel, Matthew (Melissa) Sontseng and their children Reese and Kellan Sonsteng and Jessica Sonsteng.
Visitation Monday November 6, 2016 at Bell Mortuary 12-5 p.m. Condolences for the family may be left at Lois Therese Grobel died October 17, 2017.
He is survived by his son TJ (Jenn) Erickson & granddaughter Sophia of Vancouver, Washington sister Judi (Pete) Elsenpeter of Brooklynn Park, Minnesota, brother B.
J Erickson of Tampico, Montana and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there will be a family service later.Lois thrived the last seven years at Valley View Home and regularly expressed her appreciation for the loving and outstanding care she received.It is her desire that anyone inclined to make a memorial contribution do so in favor of the Valley View Home, 1225 Perry Lane, Glasgow, Montana 59230.Mary Ann Squires, 62, of Scobey formerly of Nashua and Glasgow passed away November 3, 2017 in Scobey at Daniels Memorial Nursing Home where she had lived since 2006.She was born April 20, 1955 in Glasgow, Montana to George and Mildred (Bondy) Squires.At Lois’ direction there will not be a public service.
